My Movie Influence: Sense & Sensibility @ Inspired Ground Blog

My friend Andina over at the gorgeous Inspired Ground blog invited me last week to take part on her on-going series My Movie Influence.

Here’s the gist of what the series is all about:

Many people have their own movies they think highly, praised and probably started seeing things differently after watching them. I’ve shared mine and I always wanted to know what others have. I asked other people which movie they think to have the best influence on them.

Naturally I pick this movie…

Some of you aren’t surprised by that as this Jane Austen adaptation by Ang Lee is one of my favorite films of all time.

Well, check out why that film means so much to me over at Andina’s blog.

  1. I just wish that Thomspn would take on her other works like Sanditon and Lady Susan perhaps I will see about writing to her about it to stir some interest. I have tried with BBC and ITV they aren’t interested in Austen adaptations. As they think the principle novels are the only things worth doing which isn’t true as both of these as I haven mentioned before have been stage plays. If anyone who loves this film can think up a way to draw interest I would love to hear it. either through here or twitter as Ruth has my moniker on twitter @JAConlineforum

  2. Heading over to check out the article now :) I love Sense and Sensibility too, definetly in my top 100 favorite movies. Alan Rickman is just a perfect guy in this movie!
