1. What do you love most about movies?
I’ll admit I’m a book lover first and foremost, but what I love about books is the same for movies. I love exploring and escaping into new worlds and falling in love with characters. I know a movie has completely swept me away when a knockout performance combined with a beautiful movie score gives me the Goosebumps. Plus, nothing beats seeing a movie on the big screen. Everything from the intensified sound and camaraderie of the audience makes each experience unique and special.
2. What’s the first movie you ever watched that left a huge impression on you?
There are so many movies that have stayed with me for days, but looking back on some of my earliest theater experiences, I would have to go with Simon Burch. To me, it’s the ultimate story of a boy overcoming all obstacles to become a true hero. Simon endures hardship after hardship, some shaking him to the core, but he never gives up on his true purpose in life—to be a hero. This movie is incredibly touching and is one of the few films where I cried heavily and openly in the theater.
3. What’s your ultimate guilty pleasure flicks?
I love movies with a strong female heroine. It’s even better when a storyline includes the past meeting the present or vice versa. While they may not be academy worthy, I think they are tons of fun and it’s a breath of fresh air to see some of the female leads in unconventional roles.

4. What are your top 5 favorite movies of all time?
Again, another stumper! This was really hard to only include 5, but even though I own most of these movies, I can never resist getting sucked into them if they are on TV. The storyline, characters and emotion (whether sorrowful or humorous) never gets old. In my opinion, these are true classics.
