It’s been an undoubtedly exhilarating Monday Night Football for us Minnesotans. Minutes ago, the Vikings just beat its prime rival Green Bay Packers 30-23! Surely Brett Favre is the star of the game, officially becoming the only quarterback who’s beaten all 32 NFL teams. Not bad for a guy who’s about to turn the big 4-0 this coming Saturday!
Anyhoo, in honor of our team, I’m posting this stellar commercial by renowned director David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en, Benjamin Button — man, this guy REALLY loves Brad Pitt!) starring the equally stellar Minnesota Vikings’ running back Adrian Peterson:
This takes my breath away every time. The amazing cinematography in dramatic black and white, combined with the dark, rousing music makes for an all-out awesome piece from start to finish. This one is destined to be a classic in the similar vein of 1984 Apple Superbowl commercial.

Yeah, I actually watched the last half hour of the game… very intense. Ivan taped it so we watched all the highlights afterwards. I don’t mind watching with hubby, as he can explain all the rules to me! =)
